My name is Reed Kempton. I have lived in Somerton, Arizona
for the past 40+ years.
I have been woodworking since 1997, turning pens since 2002.
I started out making candy dispensers which can be seen on this site.
I then tried my hand at a couch table, a small table whose base slides under the
couch and the top can be used for a TV tray or a drink holder. I use these daily.
In early years of woodworking I made several quilt holders, quite a few mirrors and over 800 of the candy dispensers
not to mention lots of pens. I plan to continue producing pens and other such items, they have been so successful that
I don't have enough time to do much else.
My pen turning evolved by creating unique Christmas gifts for friends.
Word of mouth regarding the workmanship led to many satisfied customers.
